Shannon Bright Senior Agent

Shannon was born and raised in Knoxville, TN, where he developed a love for attending and performing in all types of live music events. At age 13, he bought his first concert ticket to see Journey & Styx with money saved from mowing lawns with a push mower. He graduated from Carson-Newman University in 2012 with a Bachelor of Music in trumpet performance with a minor in business management He also played in 8 different ensembles including symphonic, pit orchestra, marching band, and Jazz ensemble. In 2013, he graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with a Bachelor of Science in Music Business. After touring 49 states and 5 countries as a Tour Manager for 4 years, he joined JRA in May 2017, where he’s served as an Agent for the past 5 years. He has a passion for representing Christian artists of multiple music genres with the ability to share the Gospel at live events outside the walls of the church. Shannon has been married to his wife, E.G., for 8 years and they have a chunky pug mix named Penny. They reside in Hendersonville, TN, where they share many passions, including traveling, hiking, hunting, skiing, and gardening. Shannon also loves riding his motorcycle, woodworking, and Tillamook ice cream.
