George and Tondra Gregory

George and Tondra Gregory are USA Today bestselling authors, relationship experts, and trusted voices who’s practical, faith-rooted teaching has reached audiences across the United States, Canada, and beyond. Married for 31 years and parents of two adult children, they bring together practical relationship coaching, clinical counseling experience, pastoral leadership, and more than 17 years serving professional athletes, coaches, leaders, and families.

They are the authors of The Marriage Game Plan: Developing a Winning Strategy for Marital Success, which became a USA Today bestseller shortly after its July 2025 release. As founders of Journey for Life, the Gregorys equip couples with the tools to  communicate more effectively, navigate pressure and conflict, strengthen emotional connection, and build marriages designed to last.

For the last ten seasons, George and Tondra have served as official chaplains for the Los Angeles Chargers. They previously provided marriage support, counseling, retreats, seminars, and mentorship to the New York Jets and New York Giants for six seasons. Their work with elite performers gives them a distinct perspective on the pressures of leadership, public life, ambition, transition, and the importance of building success without sacrificing the people they love.

Their insights have reached national and international audiences through leading media and influential platforms, including Focus on the Family, The 700 Club, TBN, 100 Huntley Street, Marriage Today’s XO Conference, the NBA All-Star Breakfast, and the NBA Legends Conference. In addition to their work in professional sports, the Gregorys previously led the marriage ministry at Saddleback Church and have served in pastoral leadership for more than two decades, including planting a church on Manhattan’s Upper East Side.

George holds a Master of Divinity from Duke University and Tondra holds a master’s degree in counseling from North Carolina State University and is a New York State Licensed Counselor who maintained a relationship-focused private practice in Times Square for eight years.

They are also the hosts of The Marriage Game Plan Podcast, where they bring candid conversations, practical relationship tools, and hope-filled strategies to couples navigating marriage, family, faith, and the pressures of everyday life.
