Dr. Joy loves Jesus, and her heartbeat is centered on encouraging women through His Word. Her greatest callings are being Bryan’s wife and mom to Ellie and Sam. “Dr. Joy,” as she is fondly called by those who know her is an author, speaker, radio personality and pharmacist. Dr. Joy holds a doctorate in pharmacy and is the founder and president of Joytime Ministries, a nonprofit ministry that helps women live a joy-filled life through the hope only found in Jesus.
She is the voice behind Joytime, a one-minute nationally-syndicated radio feature that airs on 1650+ stations around the world. In addition to her radio ministry, she speaks at women’s events across the country, often blending her medical expertise with biblical truth to share practical, joy-filled encouragement to women in all walks of life!
Dr. Joy’s energetic and heartfelt teaching style fills the room with warmth, laughter, and hope! She is known for her highly interactive presentations that bring the Bible to life through creative storytelling, meaningful object lessons, and memorable illustrations. Her goal is not just to teach Scripture, but to help women experience it in a way that transforms their hearts and strengthens their faith!
Together with her team, Dr. Joy hosts sold-out ladies’ weekend retreats that bring women from across the country to North Carolina for worship, encouragement, and connection within the Joytime Sisterhood!
